Crew Member (Female)

Job Position: Crew Member- prep food, serve food, stock products, and work on register, cook, and clean store/bathrooms. Standing for the duration of your shift.

 Pay Rate - $13.00 per hour; some overtime available at time & a half.
 Hours – 32-40 hours per week. 2 weeks training
 Start Date: May 1-15, 2024
 End Date: September 5-9, 2024

 Advanced English skills for interacting with customers.
 Uniform – polo shirt & hat provided. Bring
closed toe athletic shoes and jeans(no holes or tears)
 Grooming – Must be presentable and clean.
 Social Security Number - Approximately seven days after you check into the program you will apply for a social
security card. You will be able to work before you receive your card.

 Overview of housing situation – House in Alexandria, Minnesota. There will be 2-3 students per bedroom.
 Housing Fees – Rent is $1,400 for the season. You will need to pay $250 towards rent plus $200 security deposit
upon arrival. ($450.00 total) Rent will be paid $125 per paycheck until you reach the seasonal fee.
 Housing Deposit Refund Policy - $150 of your housing deposit is eligible for return. You must work full program
dates and leave housing clean and undamaged.
 Transportation- Your housing is approximately 1⁄2 mile from your job. You can walk or purchase a bicycle.

 Company – Quick service restaurant specializing in ice cream.
 Community –Alexandria has a thriving Downtown district, excellent trails, plenty of arts, museums, parks,
wineries and a whiskey distillery.
 Location- Located in central Minnesota. 2 hours north of Minneapolis & St. Paul; known as the twin cities. The
Mall of America is the biggest shopping mall in the United States, with more than 500 stores and 10 attractions,
including an indoor theme park and is located in Bloomington just south of Minneapolis.
 Weather – Temperatures range between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (16-27 degrees Celsius)
