Big Kahuna- Line Cook (Male/Female)

Job Position: Line Cook - Responsible for all prep, cooking and plating food going out of kitchen. Maintain food temps. Degree by state health/safety laws.

 Start Date: May-June, 2024 End Date: August-September, 2024
 Hours – 32 hours per week

Will need Advanced English skills for interacting with customers.

Uniform – bring black pants
Bring closed toe shoes(tennis shoes); shirt provided
Lifeguard-uniform and rescue gear provided, student must provide footwear

Grooming – Must be presentable and clean.
Social Security Number - Approximately seven days after you check into the program you will apply for a social security card. You will be able to work before you receive your card.

 Overview of housing situation – To be determined, in negotiation. Housing pictures are examples only.
 Housing Fees –Rent is $145.00/week.
 Additional Housing Fees – A housing deposit of $350 is due on arrival. You will not be able to move in without it.
Rent & security deposit deducted from your paycheck.
 Housing Deposit Refund Policy - $150 of your housing deposit is eligible for return. You must work full program
dates and leave housing clean and undamaged.
 Transportation –You will be able to walk/bike to work each day. Bicycles provided.

 Company – Waterpark, with over forty water attractions. The park also features several thrill ride attractions
and a miniature golf course.
 Community –4.5 million tourists visit Destin each year. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and hotels.
 Location –City in Northwest Florida known for its white beaches and emerald green water, many golf courses, as
well as the Destin Harbor Boardwalk.
 Weather – Temperatures range between 70 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit (21°-35° C)
