Arrowwood Resort-Housekeeper (Female)

Job Position: Cleaning guest rooms and public areas of the hotel by
vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms and launder linens.

 Pay Rate - $13.00 per hour
 Hours – 32 hours per week
 Start Date: May 20-30, 2024 End Date: September 7-30, 2024

 Advanced English skills for interacting with customers.
 Uniform –Bring closed toe comfortable shoes. Uniform shirt and pants provided.
 Grooming – Must be presentable and clean.
 Social Security Number - Approximately seven days after you check into the program you will apply for a social
security card. You will be able to work before you receive your card.

 Overview of housing situation – Located in a manufactured/dorm style home. There will be 2 students per room
and 10 students per house. Bunk beds, furniture included. Internet and cable in common areas.
 Housing Fees – Rent is $110 per week. You will need to pay the first 2 weeks of rent plus a $125 security deposit
upon arrival. ($345.00 total)
 Housing Deposit Refund Policy - $100 of your housing deposit is eligible for return. You must work full program
dates and leave housing clean and undamaged.
 Transportation- You will walk or ride a bicycle to work. It is approximately 1 mile away.

 Company – Beautiful resort on the lake featuring an indoor waterpark, several restaurants, golf and much more.

 Community –Alexandria has a thriving Downtown district, excellent trails, plenty of arts, museums, parks,
wineries and a whiskey distillery. Alexandria was named the best Minnesota town in 2019 by MN monthly.
o Location – Located in central Minnesota. 2 hours north of Minneapolis & St. Paul; known as the twin
cities. The Mall of America is the biggest shopping mall in the United States, with more than 500 stores
and 10 attractions.

 Weather – Temperatures range between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (16-27 degrees Celsius)
