Funland – Amusement Park Worker (Male/Female)

Job Position: Amusement Park Worker Working outside in many positions throughout the park. Positions will include park service, ride operations, games.

• Hours – J-1 visa employees generally work between 45+ hours per week on average

Employees typically work up to 6 days a week with one full day off per week
• Start Date: May 24 to June 15th
• End Date: Sept 02 to Sept 7th (Must be able to work until at-least Sept 2nd which is USA Labor day )

All positions require standing for the duration of your shift, working outdoors in all weather conditions, general park duties as assigned & cleaning safely with chemicals!

Hours will be 32+ average over the course of the program.
• Hours and schedule will vary each week, must be available and able to work holidays, weekdays, and weekends (Saturday,
Sunday) as scheduled.
• Uniform – No visible tattoos, clean shaven, no facial piercings or long hair for males. Black non-slip shoes.
• Social Security Number - Approximately seven days after you check into the program you will apply for a social security card.
You will be able to work before you receive your card but you must provide a receipt to prove you have applied.

• Housing will be located Sanibel Circle 3400 Apartment #3517 Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 C .

Housing Fees: For the entire summer you will pay a total of $2,500 USD for your accommodation.

You are required to pay a $200 housing deposit in addition to the seasonal housing costs. The deposit is paid back based on the condition of the apartment when you leave. If you work exclusively for Funland, work over 500 hours and stay until your scheduled end date you will be
credited back $500 of your $2500 housing costs. That is 20% of your seasonal housing!!!

Funland will create a payment schedule for each student to pay for their housing over the summer. Once you have finished making your payments you will live rent free for the remainder of the season. The apartment is available from Saturday, May 11th, 2024 until Monday September 9th, 2024

• Sanibel Circle Apartment #3517 is a third story walkup apartment. The apartment can be arranged as male/female only or co-ed with bedrooms being only one gender. We try to group friends together but also want to respect gender concerns. We realize that your living arrangements are very important and will work with everyone to find the best fit.
