
Description
Job Position: Hospitality Staff Strip rooms of dirty laundry, make guest beds, dust furniture, vacuum, clean and sanitize guest and public bathrooms, clean kitchens and other miscellaneous cleaning duties. Public area cleaning and breakfast bar setup/clean up
Payrate $15 Per hour
Hours – 40 hours per week
Start Date: May 15-June 15, 2024
End Date: August 15 - September 15, 2024
Employment Requirements
Uniform –Black pants, closed toed shoes. Uniform shirt provided.
Grooming – Must be presentable and clean.
Social Security Number - Approximately seven days after you check into the program you will apply for a social
security card. You will be able to work before you receive your card.
Housing & Transportation
Overview of housing situation – Located on site in the hotel. 2 per room, no kitchen
Housing Fees – Rent is $300.00 per month.
Additional Housing Fees – Housing deposit is $150.
Housing Deposit Refund Policy - $150 of your housing deposit is eligible for return. You must work full program dates and stay in same housing/leave housing clean and undamaged.
Transportation –Housing is on site. There are no sidewalks into downtown and the hotel is located 5 miles from downtown. Your employer will take you to the grocery store once per week. Any other rides to town you will need to take a local taxi, uber or lyft at your expense

Community –Population 77,000. Rapid City is known as a gateway to Mt. Rushmore, the massive iconic sculpture of 4 U.S. presidents. “City of Presidents,” a series of life-size statues, spans several blocks downtown. 5 miles to downtown from the hotel-you will need to take a ride service. Lots of museums, restaurants and Summer street dances & concerts.
Location – Rapid City is east of Black Hills National Forest in western South Dakota.
Weather – Temperatures range between 55 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit (12-30 degrees Celsius)
