The Lodge at Deadwood- Housekeeper (Male/Female)

Job Position: Housekeeper - cleaning guest rooms and public areas of the hotel by vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms and launder linens.

 Pay Rate - $16.00 per hour
 Hours – 40 hours per week
 Start Date: May 2024 (DS Start Date) End Date: October 1, 2024 (DS End Date)

 Uniform – Line/Prep cook-Chef coats provided. Must wear chef pants and non-slip shoes. Busser-Shirts
provided. Bring jeans and non-slip shoes. Dishwasher-Aprons provided, will need jeans and non-slip shoes.
 Grooming – Must be presentable and clean.
 Social Security Number - Approximately seven days after you check into the program you will apply for a social
security card. You will be able to work before you receive your card.

 Overview of housing situation – Located in a shared hotel room. There is no kitchen. You will have a mini
refrigerator and microwave.
 Housing Fees – Rent is $450/month. Rent is paycheck deducted at a rate of $225 per paycheck (2X a month)
 Housing Deposit Refund Policy – There is no housing deposit. No smoking.
 Transportation–Housing is 1 mile from your job and there is a free shuttle.

 Company – The Lodge at Deadwood has it all. Lodge, casino, and two award-winning restaurants.
 Community- The economy is driven largely by tourism, based primarily on dozens of gaming halls (many with
Old West themes). Deadwood is surrounded by Black Hills National Forest and has many outdoor recreational
opportunities. The city itself is a national historic landmark. T
 Location – Deadwood is a small city in South Dakota, population approx. 1,600. Approximately 1 hour from
Mount Rushmore.
 Weather – Temperatures range between 48 and 82 degrees Fahrenheit (9 to 28 degrees Celsius)
