McDonald’s Crew Member (Male/ Female)

Job Position:

 Crew Member- Kitchen help, customer service, cleaning, stocking, and unloading stock. Participants will greet and take customer orders and work the cash register and serving customers there food orders. To complete cash transactions customers must have good math skills and be familiar with U.S. Currency. Participants will also cook and prepare customers food.

 Pay Rate - $15.00 per hour.
 Hours – 32-40 average
 Start Date: May 15-June 2024 (DS Start Date)
 End Date: September/October 2024 (DS End Date)

Employment Conditions:

 Advanced English skills for interacting with customers.
 Uniform –Bring black closed toe non slip shoes. Employer provides crew shirt, pants, apron & hat.
 Grooming – Must be presentable and clean.
 Social Security Number - Approximately seven days after you check into the program you will apply for a social security card. You will be able to work before you receive your card.

Housing and Transportation:

 Overview of housing situation – 4 bedroom House. 2-4 students per room, 2 bathrooms
 Housing Fees – Rent is $450 per month. You will need to pay $450 rent (1 month) + $150 housing deposit on arrival. Total of $600 due on arrival.
 Housing Deposit Refund Policy - $150 of your housing deposit is eligible for return. You must work full program
dates and leave housing clean and undamaged.
 Transportation- Walk or bicycle. 1 mile

 Location –In the heart of Northern Michigan. Located approx. 50 miles to Traverse City or Mackinaw City.
 Weather – Temperatures range between 55 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (13-27 degrees Celsius)
